When i try to use a raid as root, my system panic.
I want to read the kernel output right before the panic,
but i can't scroll up.
After googeling a bit, I wanted to try netconsole.
but i get no output at all on the 2nd machine

Judging from http://lxr.linux.no/#linux+v2.6.32/Docu … onsole.txt 'nc' means 'netcat', not 'netconsole'.Install gnu-netcat and try again.

Randomly, but not later than after 10 hours of work, the laptop freezes. Just freezes. Knowing that not all hardware errors are reported back to the user I tried the netconsole. Unfortunately the netconsole also didn't output anything at the time of freeze.
The only correlation I've found is that usually, on next powering up (after forced powering off) the laptop consumes 10W more power.
I'm getting such kernel panics:

I am getting lots of messages about tainted kernels in Fedora 18. I try to run dmesg and get no results stating where or what is the cause. I only see a message about USB storage being not tainted. Any idea what might be up with that? I'm stumped at the moment.
