Hi all, how are you?I am running the Awesome WM which does not have its own sitting for mouse double-click speed. Insuch situations you have to set the double-click speed through whichever tool-kit the applicationyou are using is based upon. For GTK2 apps this is not a problem, I simply placegtk-double-click-time=1000 into ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and I am good to go.
I regularly get PDFs which only have a link to another PDF (lame i know, but can't change it). The problem is that the first one specifically asks: please double click on the link below. When Im on my PC its easy, but cant find way to open that on my android tablet. Tried several PDF reader applications but most of them use double tap to zoom in.
I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and I'm trying to change my default mail client (To Evolution), I'm fairly new to Ubuntu and Linux but I've gone to System Settings >Details > Default Applications & Change it. Yet when I click the system tray icon thing at the top, it still brings up Thunderbird when I click "Compose New Mail" and what not, does anyone know how to fix this?
When I'm at work, I use KDE activities and map them to my projects. I always use the same applications on every project, so I'd like to keep my windows visible when I change the activity. For the moment, what I do is go through every window, right click on the title bar, and check the checkbox that makes the window appear on all activities.
When google chrome starts up it says that it is not the default web browser, so I click the button to set it as the default. Then, if I look at Settings->Preferred Applications->Web Browser it says No applications selected.
