I want to mirror a website that will be taken down soon, the problem im facing at the moment is simple -> mirror whole website1 and all links (will be files/images/similiar) to website2 too, so i got a nice "merged" mirror.
-Therefore the Question would be:
How to do this with wget?
Hi,
I have two websites:
website1.com and website2.com
I didn't write either but have successfully moved all the files from website1.com to website2.com
I (thought) I installed all the correct php modules and website2 is mostly up and running.
I have a Windows server running IIS. I wish to run a piece of software that hosts a web interface on a non-standard HTTP port (let's say, port 9999). I have static DNS entries on my router for two FQDNs, both of which direct to the Windows server.
I have a news server. It may be possible that there will be multiple virtual hosts on it.
There are two approaches that I see around.
One is to login as root and create files under /www/etc, Like;
/var/www/website1/public_html
/var/www/website2/public_html
The other approach is to create a new user wtih a every virtual host and put them in their user's directory.
Is it possible to reference a file in another web directory under /var?
I am trying to reference images from one web site into another.
for example:
/var/www/website1/images/tom.jpg
/var/www/website2/show_image.html
where in show_image.html I use:
src='/var/www/website1/images/tom.jpg'
It does not want to work, driving me crazy. Is it possible? Is it s permissions thing?
On a Gentoo 3.2.12 server with apache2+php, there are several websites running:
/www
/website1
/website2
...etc
The apache user should have read-only access to all the websites. There are also a few folders inside each website where apache should have read-write access (upload folders and the like).
There are several people who work on these websites.
I've got a Rails app that nginx serves through passenger.
I'd also like to serve some static content for a different domain name.
But when I add another server block to my config, both websites become unavailable returning HTTP 204.
What have I done wrong?
please solve my problem.....
Hi,
I just moved to Fedora 11 but can't figure out how to get my wireless working. I have the broadcom driver installed and the Network Manager Applet shows the available wireless networks, but when I click on them they just don't connect. Any ideas??
I get the following output on lspci regarding the wireless adapter:
