Using a dark theme, I have a problem reading the text of the 'quick fix' links in the java editor. I don't know how to change the text color, but I found how to change the bg color, which is currently the tooltip color from my theme. Unfortunately, it's not working. I was hoping someone could see if they experience the same behaviour. In the Preferences window
Hello. I am running Fedora 11 and KDE 4.3.3.
I dislike the colour that is used to highlight the currently selected item in the drop-down menus of KDE 4 applications (such as Kate, Konsole, Amarok and the Kile beta). I want to set it to a colour that makes the selected item stand out more.
I received my Note 2 about two months ago. Up until today, the hover feature on the S Pen has been working fine. When I hover over the screen, it responds as if I am using my finger. But today, the S Pen lost it's hover feature. I ordered a replacement S Pen, but the hover is still not there. When I try to hover with air view on, this shows up (See Picture).
I have an HP Photosmart C4270. Whenever I print text, gray, or black, the printer only uses the colour cartridge to make said colour. The colour cartridge is empty before you know it, and the (cheaper) black one is never in use. This even happens when I tick 'Print text in black' in LibreOffice...
Does anyone know what to do about this?
When you hover over a error in the source editor from within Eclipse, it will show a little overlay suggesting how to fix it. This is terribly useful for importing classes, and I use it for this quite a lot. However, on Linux the colour scheme is horrendous, its thin blue writing on a dark grey background, and its borderline impossible to read.
How can I fix this from within eclipse?
Something happened to my theme (I guess) where all the menu's font background color is white. This is for all menus, right click mouse menu and that top menu bar. I'm new to Ubuntu and I'm trying it out. I was following some instructions on changing themes ...something about installing gnome 3.4. And now my menu's are all messed up.
I have Quantal 12.10 and I have my theme set to Malys Route Dark and on certain things I can't see the text because it doesn't change to accommodate the theme and I don't know how to change it. For example I can barely see most of the text on the Software Center and I can't see the things that can't be selected on the icon menus at the top.
Hello, i was directer here from ubuntu forums as a possible answer to my topic. I don't mean to necro. I am looking to completely change the theme of gedit beyond just colors. I want it to look like the darkbasic CLI. I see how a few sample xlm scripts i have downloaded work.
The default color in my top panel has changed from white to a very dark grey, making my menus virtually unreadable against the black of the Ambiance theme. This includes even the login screen menu.
I used Gnome Tweak to change the theme to Adwaita, but while some text has gone light grey (e.g. Date/Time), the login menu text remains dark grey, as do most icons (e.g.
