how can you search for ntp servers by internet domain?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I'm on verizon as my ISP, I usually use the fedora ntp service pools but I decided it might be better to use an ntp server(s) on my ISP domain. I can't seem to find a way to search out ntp services on the verizon.net domain. I found this: http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Servers/WebSearch but when I search it with "verizon" I don't find any ntp servers. I've also heard that it can work to use the ISP gateway as the ntp service but when I test that with : ntpdate -q <gateway ip here> I find there's no ntp service there Any ideas? (HowTos)
