My office network blocks things like Pandora, Spotify, etc., so while most of the time I'd like to be connected to my office wifi, there are times when I'd rather use my data connection. Unfortunately, I can disconnect from the network until I'm blue in the face, and it just keeps reconnecting. Is there a setting somewhere that I can check that will allow me to control when it connects to wifi?
Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 with a Wifi problem.
When I connect to my home, school, girlfriend's Wifi it works fine! When I leave the connection with Wifi (just because I go to school of to a Bar..) and I'm going back to my home, school of girlfriend, Wifi is not connecting to the router.
I have an Eye-Fi card for my camera. i can set it up to offload images from my camera to my home PC over a WiFi hotspot.
So I can use it with built-in tethering, but it will relay all those pics over my mobile data plan- not ideal.
BUT I might be somewhere with WiFi Access.
I'd like to get some insight as to how I can possibly access network devices that are on a different IP range (obviously not mine) compared to what is configured on my wifi router?

I have a beefy server (dual Xenon & 16GB RAM with RAID5) I use as the domain controller and file server for an office network on a dedicated internet connection.
I also have a guest network with wifi access and a few public workstations for guests to use with its own dedicated internet connection.
The guest computers are not centrally managed, but I would like to change that and set up the g

I have a general question about wifi. I am on an HTC Rezound on S-off running Nils Business Sense.
Recently I decided to extend my wifi in the house using a second router on the other end of the house.
Hi,
Right now I am using Ubuntu 12.04 alongside with windows operating system. I have installed this Ubuntu with Wubi. Right now I am facing problem with wifi network in my apartment. The respective wifi network can be connected very easily. But I am unable to access internet connection. All the time Mozzila shows 'Server not fount'.
Another noob question;
The N4 connects to my home network just fine.
But, how does the phone determine which network (wifi or mobile) it uses when moving data? I looked for somewhere to set the order of priority (use wifi first, then mobile) but couldn't find it.
I assume that the N4 uses wifi first, if available, then the mobile network if wifi isn't available.
