We have a shell/tty based application that has ~1,000 users. If a user accidently turns on the Scroll Lock, it makes it seem as if the application is frozen because it quits responding to keyboard input. Is there a way to disable the Scroll Lock or remap it to something less intrusive for this use-case?
I've configured really sweet keystrokes for switching between, and scrolling in, a tty (the Linux console).
Hi,
Summary: System will not reboot when scrool lock is active.

I have multiple servers running various editions of Ubuntu (and other Linux variants) and have come across a frustrating issue.

Ubuntu starts using overlay scroll bars instead the fat scroll bars since 11.04 Natty release.
Using the command line, how can I turn on my Scroll Lock led?
I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
I tried xset led named "Scroll Lock" but nothing happened.
xset q says the led is on, but no light is on...
I need this to configure the KGMailNotifier to turn on this led when a e-mail comes to me.
Edit:
setleds -D +num
didn't work too...

I have a running log, it outputs a lot to the terminal. Unfortunately, when I try to scroll up and view older output, it appears there is a limit. And I am unable to scroll past a certain point. On the Mac, the terminal allows you to scroll up to the start of the session. Is there a way to do this in ubuntu terminal?
I have a key-mapping in VIM that looks like this:
map <F5> :silent !tmux send-keys -t 0:0 C-m "python %" C-m<cr>
When I press F5, vim runs my current Python script in tmux session 0, window 0.

Sorry, I am new to android. When I setup lock screen and turn off, the screen does not have the lock screen I setup when I turn it back on. It still show the swipe screen, no pin lock or password screen. Now if i power off and reboot then it show up. Also if I set up a type of pass lock then I can't use the lock widget anymore. It just won't show when I scroll right or left.
