Hello everyone!
I'm using Motion in Ubuntu for my home security. For one camera, it works very well. But when I have used two cameras, only one is performing. The pther one is not functioning! I have checked the config file and two Thread files.
Can any one please help me in this regard?
Thanks in advance
Syed
I've got rotation matrix from TYPE_ROTATION_VECTOR vector values. and tried to use it to rotate an object in my app. Worked fine. But what I really want is to rotate an object opposite to the direction of device's movement. Say, device is rotated around x axes for 30 degrees, I need my object to rotate around x axes to -30 degrees.
I have read a few posts re. upside down cameras but couldn't find a solution, I've also tried one script from a Ubuntu forum. It didn't work. Do you know hot to flip the image? I'm running openSUSE 11.2 on Asus UL30A.

If you have an old cam that you are not using, you can use it as a security cam. Control Motion is a program that monitors the video signal from one or more cameras and is able to detect if a significant part of the picture has changed; in other words, it can detect motion.
I have a Lenovo x220 Tablet laptop with a built-in webcam, which is shown by lsusb as a Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd device (device id 04f2:b217).
By the deault the front camera is rotated to the right by 90degree. I found a bug that you can do to rotate it back, not sure if everyone is aware of this already though or its an actual feature put in intentionally.
First, I'm running SlimBean 2.7 with the CM10 ffc patch and HoloLauncher.
Put your phone in landscape mode, then launch Camera and switch to the front camera mode.
I have an linux application that continually writes logging information into a log file, eg. /var/log/application.log.
I see a lot of advice from people wanting to take portrait photos that tell them to rotate the camera by 90 degrees. However, no matter what I try the only thing that actually "rotates" is the image being taken by the camera, however it retains it's width and height proportions, so what happens is that the picture is only not distorted if the SurfaceView is narrow and tall.
So FedEx delivered my new Spectrum 2 from Verizon yesterday and I had to return it today. :(
Overnight, as it was charging, the accelerometer just stopped working. And yes, all the "turn auto-rotate on" options were set correctly. It also strangely forgot the settings for my wi-fi adapter which it was linked to all night.
