I installed Ubuntu 12.04 from Windows 7 using Wubi. For reasons I won't elaborate here, I had to reinstall Windows 7.
Now I want to uninstall Ubuntu. But there is no entry for ubuntu in Windows' Add/Remove Programs anymore.
What I tried:
running the Uninstall executable from Ubuntu's installation folder, which didn't do anything.
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04. It was installed on a created partition, alongside windows 8. I uninstalled Ubuntu, deleted its partition, and merged it back with my C:/ drive. Now, Ubuntu will not remove from the Windows 8 boot menu in UEFI. I have tried booting into a Ubuntu USB and using efibootmgr. I have also tried /FixMbr and /Fixboot. Nothing has helped.
I tried to get Ubuntu; but the disc I tried to burn didn't work. I don't know what the problem was.
I never saw Ubuntu on the computer at Start-up or anywhere.
I uninstalled "Ubuntu" which appeared to be in "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows 7 (X64) and deleted any other files I could see (via Search).
However, I have "Ubuntu" stuck as an 'ISO' image?
I am currently dual booting windows 8 and ubuntu 13.04 both uefi and i have a cpl of questions...
how can i hide ubuntu drives (partitions) in windows without affecting ubuntu and vise versa?
how can i uninstall software such as boot-repair?
An year and a half ago, I installed Ubuntu on my computer using Wubi. After a while I decided to install Ubuntu on a separate partition. So I uninstalled the Ubuntu using Wubi, and installed Ubuntu on a separate partition by booting from the Ubuntu ISO.
Though Wubi uninstalled Ubuntu from my Windows partition it did not remove the option in the boot menu.
i dont have a cd burner and i dont have a usb flash drive. is there some way to install windows xp and totally remove ubuntu? im using latest version of ubuntu blah blah blah crappy computer can barely open firefox i just want to totally get rid of ubuntu and install windows xp from an .iso or extract all the files out of that .iso to another partion or something but idk how to do it!
I installed Ubuntu via Ubuntu Windows Installer 12.04, but now I want to remove Windows on my computer. Will Ubuntu be removed, If I remove windows?
I also want to change storage size, because Ubuntu is really running slower than Windows 7.
I dont know what happened - it may have been a windows or ubuntu update - but when I try to boot ubuntu, it opens GRUB in console and I dont know how to start ubuntu. If anyone knows how to fix this, or knows how I can start ubuntu from this command-line version of GRUB, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Wubi Installed Twice (without uninstalling the first), now I can't remove the second
So, I uninstalled Ubuntu from Program Files on Windows 8. But, I originally installed Ubuntu twice accidentally. Wubi didn't uninstall the first partition.
