How can I install Rhythmbox in xubuntu without nautilus?

http://askubuntu.com – I notice that when I try to install rhythmbox in xubuntu 12.04, it seems to depend on gnome desktop and nautilus, neither of which I want. sudo apt-get install rhythmbox [sudo] password for mark: Reading package lists... When I try to install gir1.2-gwibber-gtk-0.2, I get the following errors :

I get this error

Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

so I tried sudo apt-get clean and autoclean.

When I ran sudo dpkg --configure -a:

i am using xubuntu 7.04 on vmware

i try to install git and git-core ad get following error msgs plz solve it

aptitude tells me I have some packages with broken dependencies:

today when i started Rhythmbox and played a song then there is sound in it.

And I have followed it step by step, but when I try to install the gnome-shell-extensions I get this:

I am trying to install the gnome shell on Ubuntu 11.10, with all updates installed. This is the message I get when I try, though.
