How can I find my public ip address with built in system commands without relying on any third party websites or services?

Mozilla’s Persona, the organization’s experimental distributed login system that’s an alternative to OpenID and OAuth, is now officially in public beta.

I am having this problem accessing my elastic public IP for my EC2 instance in the web browser. Installed REDHAT 6.3 and installed nginx web server(up and running) and also made sure i enabled port 80 and everything needed was setup.

Now time to enter the public IP to view the default nginx web page and nothing happens.

Hello everyone. I'm new here so I'd like to introduce myself :) I am not a professional webmaster, but I like to create my own websites so I can have control over my system (please don't laugh). As I don't have much income, the only way to have websites is being a DIY. I have about 10 websites, most of them free hostings built with WYSIWYG and html.

Is anyone using both apps? I like the built-in app because I can view all updates at once and post to all services at once but its very limiting on what I can do in terms of replying, finding people to add, accessing my business page, etc.

There are many options for reliable web hosting, but before considering the options, one must decide what the needs are and what the requirements for hosting the websites are.

I would like to create a proxmox vm and have that vm be able to ping/access external websites without having to assign a public ip to it. How do I do this?
