How can customize the linux find command

http://stackoverflow.com – I have this command in my bashrc mygrep() { find /var/www/project1 -name '*.py' -o -name '*.html' -o -name '*.js' -type f | xargs grep -Hn "$1" ; } i want few modification I don't want to hardcode the path but wherever i execute that , it should search from the directory where i am executing the comand It should get the directory to exclude from the files like ~/find-excludes.txt It should get the pattern to search also from the file ~/find-patterns.txt like *.py , *.js How can i do that (HowTos)
