http://forum.xda-developers.com – Ok, so this is a serious thread. I dropped my ATRIX on the floor and its screen is now cracked and the edges are all grazed. So, evil, evil me thinks "Wait a second, I have warranty - could I claim a replacement?" Then normal me thinks 'No, you dropped it and that's not covered by warranty' And evil me comes up with a great solution. "How about I purposely brick my phone, send it to moto and they send back a replacement? - no more cracks!! In short, how can I brick my phone to give it a reason to send back to moto for a replacement - would flashing a wrong sbf work. Also, (HowTos)

I Double checked with HTC ITALY and If I send my phone rooted etc then I will not pass through warranty.. soo I need to restore my DHD back to "stock" with root / radio / eng and all stuff back to original settings (and normal rom again).

From what I gathered my steps would be:

1. flash using the HTC program the original rom from their website 2.

So I purchased my N7 at a brick and mortar store (looking back, I should have just ordered it online) - Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone who had to send their N7 back to Asus multiple times for repairs, were able to get a replacement rather than have them repair it? This is the third time in less than five months that I had to send my unit back.

I was in the gym the other day and I dropped my Razr HD Maxx from about waist height. It fell flat on the screen and when I picked it up the screen was completely inoperable. I noticed that the LCD was spider-webbed cracked from the right side bezel. I will try to take some pictures of it.

hi..i have an atrix with this "about":

system version: 4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US Kernel: 2.6.32.9

This is from At&t, but i'm using it from Argentina with another provider.

I want to use CM10 rom, but i'm affraid to brick my phone.

Does the rom can be installed in this configuration?

dropped the phone on hard floor and the screen cracked and two days later dropped on the carpet and the screen got smashed.

the screen works very ,, s-pen is working too .. is this only outer screen issues? ,,

and any suggestion about good replacement and from where to buy it ?

okay heres the deal my phone has been acting up alot...

I dropped my phone on accident and the back cover and battery came out. Well when I put them back in my phone will not come back on. I've tried hooking up to a charger that works to get it on, took the battery out and back in several times.

Did I brick my phone? I have the samsung epic 4G. I was tr ying to root it, while in the middle of booting the new files my usb came dissconnected. It only half booted the new files. Now when I turn it on it shows the evil phone with triangle and computer symbol. I can still access download mode but i cant get it to link to my computer. What do I do? Can it even be fixed?

So I dropped my phone and unfortunately it shattered. Just the the screen, back glass was fine. Lcd worked fine, could see everything clearly except the touch screen doesn't work. Welll I sent it in to get it repaired. After a couple days they send me an email with how much it will cost, what they're replacing, etc.
