How to boot diskless server from iSCSI SAN

http://www.linuxquestions.org – There has been a year since this post and there is got to be something new http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ght=iscsi+boot I am booting my virtualization servers from USB key and it works OK. But only recently I have found, that diskless servers can boot from iSCSI target server. I realize that this could make another step to further improve reliability of the system. I haven't tried yet but one way is to install boot from network (which includes DHCP, TFTP) and may or may not work over 10Gb NIC cards. And it looks filed with troubles. On the other side is there any opensource sw (like Double-take flex) which makes boot from CD or USB key and than start server software from iSCSI server. by TheR (HowTos)
