I have 4 IPs bound to my network interface.
Is there a way to make Apache, when running as a proxy, to send the http requests through one specific IP, different from the interface's default?

I trying to design a system with a main server that proxy to many other servers depending on the login made.
I'm not that used with apache so i'm confused if is that possible using apache proxy.
I've already configured apache proxy to another server and it worked well with http but when I tried with https only the first 6 bytes, the ssl preamble, goes forward.
Does anybody know why this happens?
We have decided to run a secure web proxy through apache. we assigned the server a domain name and then bought SSL certificate for that domain and then applied on Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) with Apache/2.2.22.
