Hi ,
Ever since I upgraded to Fedora 17 from Fedora 14, single clicking my mouse has become very difficult. Single click registers as a double click 70% of times. All the settings that I see have to do with delay between 2 clicks to be considered a double click, but here I am not making 2 clicks.
Hi
Well, the problem is that my mouse is broken and when I click the left button it generates 2 mouse clicks, so until I buy a new mouse I need to somehow temporarily fix it.
My idea is to set some kind of limit between mouse clicks, that when you click the mouse then you will have to wait let say 0.2sec before you can click it again and every mouse clicks generated before passing those 0.2sec
Hi,
Gtk::Scale has settings that allow moving the slider by
1) page increment
2) step increment
3) dragging it
However, I need to make its slide jump to the location where a mouse click occurred, like in video and audio players, and none of the 3 solutions above works this way.
Listening to mouse events to adjust the value (the slider) manually - doesn't work, for some reason Gtk::Scale only re
I've just installed Ubuntu 11.10 and everything seems fine, except the mouse clicks only work half the time. I often have to click things (whatever it is) several times before any response and it's driving me crazy. The mouse works fine in Windows XP.
In Ubuntu 12.04, my mouse clicks when I release the button.
What happens (bad): I right click (mousedown), the context menu appears, when I release the mouse button (mouseup), the item under the cursor is clicked.
What should happen (good): I right click (mousedown), the context menu appears, nothing happens when I release the button.
In resume, can't press more than 3 keys on the keyboard for combination, something happens and some keys stop responding (if already pressed), mouse gives more than one click (like 7 clicks at time) at pressing any mouse's buttons, and finally, my game joystick is also controlling the cursor which is the oddest part. can i ask for help?
I have a mouse with a strange problem. The left button sometimes fires a double click even if I click just one time.
I would like to know if there's a way to avoid fast double clicks, ignoring clicks with a interval lower than a defined value.
I'm using Fedora 15.
Thanks in advance.
I'm using the optical mouse that came with my dell inspiron and while it works, it has some serious sensitivity issues. I click, it double clicks, I maximine, and it minimizes right back down. Even the lightbulb test under the mouse menu was flickering.
Is there an easy fix for this? Of is there a specific mouse that's pretty much plug and play for linux systems?
I did an update the other day and ever since my mouse has been going crazy...
Clicks are registering way too fast, to the point where it makes even dragging and dropping items difficult, and even my left mouse button when held down is registering multiple clicks...makes it hard to even move or resize a window on my screen and the crappy mouse configuration in sstem tools isn't doing a damned th
