I have a Brother MFC 8460N Printer When I print it prints ver very slow I am using Ubuntu 9.10. I downloaded the drivers from the brother website below. It still is very slow. I have printed the same item on a windows computer it is much faster any ideas on how to speed it up? Thanks for you help.

Just installed Ubuntu 12.04. Have a Brother DCP-197C printer/scanner. Any idea how I can get it working? Have tried the Printer thing in Settings with no success at all.

I have a networked Brother DCP-315CN printer/scanner that I've been using with Ubuntu since version 7.10.

I've spent whole a day to find a way to install my brother mfc-7440 printer on ubuntu 9.1, unfortunately there in no ppd file for the model.
