Hi,
I recently rooted my Desire Z and installed the CWM recovery. Now, I came to know that the CWM creates ext3 partitions while 4EXT makes ext4 partitions. I have two queries:
1. Does the latest CWM Touch recovery creates ext4 partitions like 4EXT?
2. If no, then how should I uninstall the CWM and install the 4EXT. I have downloaded the 4EXT Recovery Updater.

I am using a viewpager to swipe amongst fragments in my app. I define the background in the XML, so
android:background="@drawable/bg_final"
If I use a simple background color, my app works very smooth. If I use it with this background image, fps decreases and my app becomes only passable. It is not slow, just not so smooth, however on weaker devices it could work laggy.
This is a simple, easy way to flash 4EXT Recovery, enjoy!

Background: I am still on ICS 4.0.4 rooted and unlocked (atleast ez unlock says im unlocked and i have superuser and voodoo says im still rooted) .
However, when I try to flash a custom recovery , ROM manager gets stuck at 100 % and closes. I have also tried installing a custom recovery via EZ recovery, and it says its flashed.
I am currently on 4EXT recovery Touch v1.0.0.5 RC 7, is it a good idea to update to Touch v1.0.0.5 RC 9 ? and can i have steps to update to RC9.. thanks.. :D
Hello I am currently only able to access bootloader, and recovery, but I am unable to mount my sd in recovery and I also can not even boot my device I just get a black screen.
What I was thinking was to flash stock recovery image or something of the sorts but I cant find a stock recovery image
any suggestions to lead me into the right direction would be greatly appreciated thank you
Something happened to my theme (I guess) where all the menu's font background color is white. This is for all menus, right click mouse menu and that top menu bar. I'm new to Ubuntu and I'm trying it out. I was following some instructions on changing themes ...something about installing gnome 3.4. And now my menu's are all messed up.
This brief tutorial will show ways to customize Ubuntu themes and background images with cool themes from Bigisi-project.
