I have a Windows 7 host machine running VirtualBox (v4.122) and a guest VM of Kubuntu 12.04 running Apache2.
I can access the Apache server from the host machine but it will only load the default Apache welcome page and is ignoring all of my virtual hosts.
Some more details about the configuration:
The Kubuntu VM has several virtual hosts that all work fine when accessed via a web browser insi
I have virtualbox 4.1 on a ubuntu 12.04 host. On my host I have a virtual interface eth0:1 configurend as 10.0.1.1. I have a few virtual machines using bridged adapters, configured in the 10.0.1.0 net which I can reach (ping, ssh, ...) from my host via the virtual interface.
Now I installed an ubuntu server 12.04 in a virtual box, again using bridged adapter, but I can not reach that host.
I have a virtual development server running Ubuntu Server set up with Apache and running under VirtualBox on a Mac (host OS is OSX 10.8.1). I have a bridged adapter configured in an attempt to make it visible from my test devices (iPhone and Android) inside the network.
When I connect to the server from the "real" machine that's running it, everything's fine - webpages can be loaded, etc.

I have virtualbox running on a Windows 2008 server, with a guest running ubuntu 10.04. The ubuntu guest is given a static IP of 192.168.1.4, which also has openssh installed. The guest has bridged network setup, I can ping 192.168.1.4 from any machine in the LAN, the ubuntu guest can also access the LAN. However, when I try to PuTTY into the ubuntu machine, I always get "connection refused".
I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum to post this question to so if it is not, please be kind. It is my goal to set up a virtual machine using Oracle VM VirtualBox which is capable of being accessed by the host through a web page. I'm attempting to use the virtual machine as a Samba server that also runs CUPS.
I have ubuntu 12.04 installed with virtualbox 4.1.12. I have a windows 7 professional 32-bit virtualmachine with a bridged network adapter inside virtualbox. I've given a static ip to this machine with all ports open on both host and virtual machine (for now) but people outside of my network can't remote into the virtual machine, just the host.
I have a CentOS 6.1 virtual machine, virtualized with VirtualBox on Windows XP.
I have 2 virtual machines that can not ping/access one another.
I am setting up a exchange server, and a domain controller as guest machines in virtualbox. All machines including the host are running windows server Datacenter 2008 R2. I have my networking set to "bridged", and static ip's set in both the virtual machines, and host (but not on the network adapters).
