Home key stopped working

http://forum.xda-developers.com – The home key only works on the lock screen. It does not work at any other time. This randomly happened last night and I can't seem to find the problem. Any advice other than backing up and resetting my phone? Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk (HowTos)

I was charging my phone last night and suddenly the recent apps just keeps appearing.

It's happened three times today, when I click the home button and swipe the screen to unlock my phone just randomly resets, nothing changes but it just resets? Can someone tell me why this could be?

All of a sudden, my phone randomly goes into the weather/time dock homescreen, and the home button now brings me to this screen, not the home screen.

I did drop my phone in shallow slush friday night, but it didn't start until sunday.

I don't use any lock screen and I always use the home button to wake my phone up.

Since official JB, the home button not only wakes the phone up but it closes the app I'm in.

So I'm using a starling netbook which worked perfectly fine for about the first 5 months I owned it. Last night, I started having problems. I came home and it was having difficulties connecting to my home wireless network. It would start connecting and then drop the connection. i tried rebooting, and it only got worse. Now, the wireless card doesn't recognize anything.

Hi all newbie here and did a few searches and tried to look for help but could not find right info, also I hope I am in the right spot to post so please feel free to tell me if I am not in the right place. Currently running ICS 4.0.4 up-to-date at time of writing on Vodafone Australia but I don't think the country of service provider is the problem.

I was wondering whether anyone else has experienced these strange issues with the lock screen.

1. When I press the lock (sleep) button on the side of the phone, the screen turns off, but often when I put the phone down straight afterwards it comes back on by itself. There are no notifications, messages, battery alerts etc either, it just unlocks and sits on the home screen.

My new Nexus 7 has 5 home screens, but how can I set one of them to always display as the default home screen.

After I've used the lock screen, it doesn't display the home screen I prefer.

I tried to unbrick my tablet using pretty easy recovery installer, and now my TF101 won't detect it's own sdcard. I tried factory resetting, flashing a new ROM, even tried restoring an old backup. Nothing works. The strange thing is, it was working fine before on those same roms. It wasn't until I managed to run the full exploit that that happened. Please, help... I hate this thing...
