HelloThe scripts ran after installing CB on my laptop set up htdocs in my folder and put a folder with my name in /var/www as well. How do if do this for a new user? I created a new account and the standard home folder was created but no htdocs folder appeared. Appreciate any help.Thank you

so i'm trying to make a shared folder for other users, inside that folder i want a personal folder for every user.
I have given full control to everyone on the network, so i can do anything i want, i tried to remove the "Delete" permission but than i couldn't create a folder with a new, which would mean all my folders are called "New Folder".

I'm trying (without success) to get help with setting up User Home Folder\Directory permissions on server 2012. What I would like to know is what permission do I need so that each user can access his/her files etc but CANNOT view\access other users home folders.

I am administrating a remote Windows Server 2008 Standard. I have already 17 users in 'Remote Desktop Users' and all of them have home folders in c:\users.
But when I've added the 18th user it didn't create a folder for him.

hi, i'm developing a script that will download files into different directories.
Ex.
this is my WGET command:
wget -P /home/user/Desktop/2012/07/04/ [...] http://website.com/folder/folder/folder/20120704/
when I finished downloading from 20120704 and changed to 20120705 folder, what i want to happen is the destination folder will also change from /2012/07/04/ it will be /2012/07/05/

I have created a ftp user and added the user to the chroot list.
When i log into the user account using filezilla the user is directed to a specific folder, ie /var/www/site1folder.
The problem is that the user can back out into, www, then var, then system folders are all vizible.
How can i stop the user being able to browse other folder.
