Hi everyone,
this is my first message, and since i'm not an expert in this forum i hope it's posted in the right section, if not, my apologizes.
I take this opportunity to introduce myself: I'm a 18 year old student, from italy. I just started aerospace engineering in Milan.
Hi folks,I am using #! now for ca. 1 year and I felt in love with it ;)I've found "crunchbang" during search of a new distro after 1 or 2 years of experience with ubuntu. The gnome desktop was somehow annoying, so I begun the search for another windowmanager. Openbox is my favorite until the fist installation of #!
Howdy,I hail from Canada. I started using Linux about two years ago. Like a lot of newbies, I got going with Ubuntu. About a year ago I switched to Arch, and haven't looked back. I love the simplicity and customizability - the Arch Way! Arch appeals to my drive to tinker. After a year of using Arch, this is the first time I've posted to the forums.
Welcome to #!Crunchbang and the #!Forums.I also, bought my 1st PC from Radio-Shack in 1984 (TSR-1000) for about $1600Been a die-hard Linux user for the past 7 years - now.My favorite computer is a fairly new: Thinkpad X1 Ultra-thin laptop.
hello, good people, how are you?I'm a 19 year old computer enthusiast from uruguay and a few years ago i discovered linux and fell in love with it, specially i fell in love with how simple it is and how it is community driven.
Thanks for reading my intro post! I first learned of this wonderful distro last week sometime. Had been using Kubuntu on my netbook. Loved the minimalist look and feel from the first time I fired up the live session. Began reading some posts on the forum and knew this would be a community I would enjoy taking part in.
Hi everyone, I've been a linux user for about 3 years now and never intend to use windows again if I can help it. I've shifted around using various linux distro's on my laptop (ubuntu, mint, pclinux, puppy) until my laptop met it's demise at the hands of a full pint of water (don't ask), however, I managed to acquire a pc that was being discarded at work.
Since I am new I thought I would introduce myself. I am 32 and have been using Windows for 10 years. I currently live in the states. Utah to be particular. A year ago I took the plunge into Linux. I started with PCLinuxos and loved it. It was not fulfilling all of my needs and it was a heavy distro, so I went distro hopping. I landed on CrunchBang a few months ago and have not looked back.
I'm a fairly experience programmer and have been working on UNIX/Linux for about 40 years. Currently, I usually work on Kubuntu and I'm more or less happy with the product and the support of the community. Definitely, I give a thumbs up for Kubuntu!!About 12 years ago I was given an IBM Thinkpad 600e as my traveling laptop.
