High CPU usage with b43 driver (bcm4312 [14e4:4315])

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi, I was hoping somebody could help me out with this. My netbook came with a Dell 1397 WLAN mini-card, here's the chipset information: Code: 03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g [14e4:4315] (rev 01) I'm currently using the broadcom-sta driver, which kinda works. But I'd like to switch to the b43 driver so I won't have to rebuild any modules after a kernel update. The chipset is supported by the b43 driver since kernel 2.6.32, but when I use b43 a process called 'phy0' eats up about 30-40% of my CPU. I tried killing the process, but it just starts again. And when I try to 'rmmod b43' my system locks up. Any ideas? Thanks EDIT I'm using Slackware-Current, btw (HowTos)
