Hi guys,
I bought a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. I plugged in the usb receiver and followed the directions. Nothing happened. I left it plugged in and continued to use the PS2 keyboard while trying to resolve the issue. During this time I decided to upgrade to ubuntu 9.10.
Hi There,
I had a strange problem where by my wireless keyboard wouldn't work on boot up. Mouse works fine. If I unplug then replug the dongle it works.
Thinking the keyboard was duff I today bought a new keyboard/ mouse wireless combo. It's a different make, yet it does exactly the same.
Anybody any ideas what is causing this?
I installed Fedora 17 on my laptop, where I use a keyboard (Logitech K120) and mouse (generic USB mouse) connected to a hub.
Then I noticed that neither the keyboard nor the mouse worked.
This happens every few hours. I am running fine and then the keyboard and mouse completely stop working - though the system seems to be still running.
I've tried two different wireless keyboard/mouse sets (different models) and the same thing happens.
I am running 9.04 on a Dell 9100 in dual boot with XP. This problem does not seem to occur in the XP os.
Here's the issue. I'm installing Ubuntu on my bosses HP. LiveCD and install work just fine. After install, the mouse and keyboard just stop working. The keyboard works up to the login screen. at that point not even the numlock/capslock work.
Its a HP Pavilion pj508aa-aba a710n with a HP/Asus Kelut 2.02 MB and a HP keyboard and mouse (from a different system).
I purchased a logitech for android bluetooth keyboard with stand, and a microsoft wedge touch mouse (which is epic) and i am having a problem
basically when i have the keyboard attached by itself it work fine, but when i connect the mouse to the bluetooth in the device to keyboard 'jams' on a certain key, like AAAAAAAAAAAAA...but over and over, i was wondering if anyone has either had the same
I just recently decided to install the most recent Ubuntu version on my Dell XPS 15z running Windows 7 (in hopes of using it to code).
However, after installing, I realized that neither my keyboard nor my mouse worked with Ubuntu. I couldn't move or type. It works with an outside keyboard and mouse, just not my laptops trackpad and keyboard. How do I fix this?
I have had suspend (S3) working on my machine for some time now with a PS/2 wireless keyboard and mouse set. I got a new USB wireless keyboard and mouse that works MUCH better, but now the computer wakes up about 10 seconds after suspending. Does anyone know what might cause this?
