i have successfully created an overlay activity which allows touch input to be sent to the window behind it. Everything works, however, it significantly slows down the device, my guessing is because its creating such a large overlay? I really dont need the overlay to be across the entire area of the screen, it technically could be as big as 2 x 2 pixels.
In my Android app, when I switch to full screen mode using the following piece of code:
this.getWindow().addFlags(WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_FULLSCREEN);
the screen goes to full screen by hiding the notification bar at the top. The notification bar animates out of the visible space, but the activity expands with a jerk.
Hi,
Is there an option or an app to show a notification when it arrives if you are in fullscreen app/game. I know you can access notification bar by swiping from the top of the screen but I would like that notification (or notification bar showing the notification) shows automatically for a few seconds and then hide, something like on the iPhone.
i have a code for zoom in and zoom out, its working fine.
my problem is that, how can i use my zoom in zoom out adapter with my other activity that has this kind of code.
I've Googled around for this to no avail, I'm sure its just something simple but I have not been able to figure this out perhaps because searching in Google or SF for a "-" can be problematic.
I had a strange directory listing show up the other day in my git repository within Drupal.
I need to show and hide the system bar in my application,hence I used two buttons for that. I used to test for both Android(3.0.1) and Android(4.1.1) devices. For android(3.0.1), I am able to hide and show the system bar as per my requirement.

Hi I have a Galaxy Nexus on CM10 jellybro.
When I receive an email with gmail app it shows the email subject and (at least part of) the message body text in the notification pulldown.
Is there a way to hide this? Without disabling the notificatins entirely. Would be nice if it would just say "1 new email" or whatever.
Thank you =)
For Jellybean 4.1.2. DEODEXED roms only

This framework is still up and coming I will continue to update with more mods when I can so keep an eye out.
