AT&T announced this morning that they have entered into a deal to acquire the Alltel wireless network currently owned by Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. AT&T will pay cash to acquire the wireless properties, licenses, network assets, retail stores, and roughly 585,000 Alltel subscribers.
Im chasing a roaming issue I encountered yesterday traveling from Nebraska to Denver. I got an international data usage alert, I accepted to use data and had to switch the phone from global mode to lte/cdma to keep it from dropping to 1x constantly. My current PRL is 14014 with an Alltel national plan on Verizon.
I have an HTC Desire CDMA, S-OFF, MIUI rom. It's been working fine with the new rom for 2 months. Today after I got off a call, it wouldn't complete calls and now it keeps going off and on and off and on. So now would I just download the froyo update from us cellular's website and go from there? Currently DLing that right now to see if what they'll do at the store will work or not.

its already rooted. its CDMA i believe. all the unlock methods ive seen so far are for GSM not CDMA.
What is the newest phone that Alltel currently sells and is it any good? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Hello all I have the galaxy s2 SCH-R760X which is alltel. I flashed a rom from here but realized it was virgin mobile. is there anywhere I can find a rom for this alltel galaxy s2? I have search everywhere but with no luck thanks in advance.
You might be forgiven for thinking the HTC Desire Z is the misunderstood second cousin in the HTC litter. When the Taiwanese manufacturer already has the Desire, the Desire HD, the Desire S and more, it’s hard to get your head around just why you should care about the Desire Z. I have the ICS CM9 Spacedog rom running on my CDMA HTC Desire. I am having a problem with GPS and seems like its also in CM7. I have tried everything I can find on the net but can't get it working. Below will be the section of my logcat that occurs when I start and then stop GPS. It will not get a location no matter where I am. Have tried wipe and flash CM7 rom to no avail.
I have a CDMA HTC desire. It is fast and running ics, but it starts lagging until reboot. Reboot takes forever.
