Hello community!I just recently installed #! onto an Acer Netbook (721-3988) and I have to say I'm loving it so far. It replaced my Linux Mint OS and I'm loving the speed I get now using the lightweight Openbox manager!
So, I just made my official switch from iPhone to Android the other day, by way of the HTC One X+, and I have to tell you: I am LOVING this phone! It's really eye-opening how good it is. Physically beautiful, functional, with lots of great features! The screen is SUCH a relief to read content on, coming from an iPhone! So far, I am loving everything about it!
I have successfully converted http response in Android to String using the Inputstream, using the convertStreamToString (instream). The question I have is how do I take that converted String and put that into a local String.
I'm Trcx. I recently purchased my first android phone and was lead here looking for a recovery image for my new phone. I am a hacker and tend to play rough with my devices. I run linux as my primary OS and am coming from iOS platform. I still like iOS ascetically as it is more refined, but I am loving the open source nature of android.
I recently converted to android at the end of 2011. I had been a Windows Mobile user for a couple of years and a Palm treo user before that. Was using a Palm Treo before the first iphone ever came out. All I can say is WOW! I love my new phone. It took some getting use to the onscreen keyboard but i am getting there.
