I'm aware that this isn't for support, however, I'm confused about something: if someone is in your phone's address book but not in your contacts, what does that mean? What to do?
I can imagine this question has been asked about a million times.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 Mini running on Jelly Bean and I have a problem with my contacts. One...only one...has done what I want it to. The first contact on my address list has a little Google symbol AND and little Whatsapp symbol next to it, so I can start a Whatsapp conversation from the Phone Book.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that your MP3-playing, book reading, web browsing, game playing Android device is still a cell phone that was originally designed to make phone calls and communicate with others.
Somehow the contacts on my phone appear to have been wiped. Checked my phone today and there are no contacts in the address book. I did a reboot and this resulted in 9 contacts appearing most of which are from my service provider. However contacts that i've entered are no longer present. Now as part of setting up my galaxy s5 I recall providing a samsung account username and password.
