Hi. So, I just made my official switch from iPhone to Android the other day, by way of the HTC One X+, and I have to tell you: I am LOVING this phone! It's really eye-opening how good it is. Physically beautiful, functional, with lots of great features! The screen is SUCH a relief to read content on, coming from an iPhone! So far, I am loving everything about it!

Hello Everyone im new to this forum. i just recently purchased note 2 and loving it and i want to start rooting and do custom roms. i have t989v note 2 with wind mobile. now my question is would the 1 click rooting method by mike would work? and if so is all roms compatibale with this phone or i have to change radios or baseband.

I've been an iPhone user for the past four years but after the disappoint l felt with the 5 I made the switch to Android. I have a Note 2 on AT&T. So far I've found the OS to be much more powerful than iOS. Still taking some getting used to! I joined the forums to learn from all you experienced users.

Joined the forum to learn more about Android and smartphones as I'm about to buy my first one some time soon :) Been a Nokia user till now and I've had it with their laggy interfaces and unintuitive UIs!

I have been programming for 40 years in COBOL, C++, C#, PHP, javascript, html, Visual Studio, etc. and am trying to learn programming for the Android platform. I always thought I could pick up anything but Android has me reeling trying to learn it using Eclipse. Does anyone have any recommendations on IDE's or books to buy to use for developing Android for someone not familiar with Android?

The reason I joined this forum is to get help with my WM5986 tablet. When I turn it on the android comes on and then freezes. I have searched different sites but I can not find any help.
