When we had our iPhones this was a simple process - not sure how hard or possible it is with Android and an S3?
- switching from AT&T to VZW and id like to take my wifes S3 and basically buy a new one on Verizon and somehow transfer all of her settings, and apps on the new phone.
What is needed?
many thanks in advance

I feel like a child in a candystore in google play! But i am quickly realizing that i need to learn about organizing things. What are the right terms to use to describe the android desktop so that i can google my questions?

Well after owning iphones since the iPhone 3g, I switched to Android because I wanted more usability and more features. I just got my Galaxy S3 and I love it. I also have an Acer tablet that I've had for a while which helped me realize I liked Android.
I like to get as much as possible out of technology rather than use a smartphone like this as a phone call and texting device only.
Ok first I just got this the Galaxy Note 2, it's SGH-I317Obviously.
I originally started with Apple products such as the iPhones 3 4 and just got rid of my 5.
This is actually my first Android phone. So im here to clarify things.
I found this forum googling around looking to see if theirs like some sort method similar to jailbreaking iPhones.
Hi,
I'm still a bit of a newbie with flashing roms etc, however I did root my phone (sg3) a few days ago. So the questions was what to do next and stumbled upon here. Hopefully I can learn a lot from you guys and maybe, just maybe, history will repeat and I'll be passing on knowledge one day :D
Hi guys, I had never programmed an Android application before... and yet, I was asked to create an app for my final year project.
So... Is there any tips for a newbie like me? Or anything? Like websites, forums(threads) and etc. where I can learn to get started, or ask the same questions?
Also, is there any easy ideas of an app that a newbie like me can create in 12 weeks time?
Hi all
I have had the last 2 iphones and like them but have an android tablet and love the customisations I can do and the general interface. Hence I am considering an android phone for my next upgrade due in Aug. I would welcome comments off people who may have had iphones and switched to android or people who are pro android and want to make any comments.
Hi all!
I switched from the iPhone to Samsung Captivate. I wanted to upgrade and learn more about android so came across this website. I am totally new to everything about android and even writing in forums. Hope to learn lots and meet great people!
