Hi,
I am slowly learning all the features of KDE by playing with it but am stuck on a colour choice... Here is a snapshot of the screen. The brighter blue colour that fills the window I cannot find to change anywhere.
I'm using the ambiance theme (the dark one) in Ubuntu 12.04.2. I've tweaked things using dconf-editor so that the select colour is blue (#4a90d9 if anybody cares).
What I'd like to do is make the close button in the theme match this selection colour.
Obviously, the button's colour is dictated by the .png file in the theme, so I tried making a separate theme for this and changing the files.
Hello. I am running Fedora 11 and KDE 4.3.3.
I dislike the colour that is used to highlight the currently selected item in the drop-down menus of KDE 4 applications (such as Kate, Konsole, Amarok and the Kile beta). I want to set it to a colour that makes the selected item stand out more.
I have an HP Photosmart C4270. Whenever I print text, gray, or black, the printer only uses the colour cartridge to make said colour. The colour cartridge is empty before you know it, and the (cheaper) black one is never in use. This even happens when I tick 'Print text in black' in LibreOffice...
Does anyone know what to do about this?
Don't know a way of doing a batch change (roll-on macros!), but one way for individual images...1) Select by colour (Shift-click to add similar pixels). May be easier to select the bg and invert selection2)Colours/Hue-Saturation, drag the Hue slider in the Adjust Selected Colour area, to the colour you want.
I recall that eval "dircolors -b" used to display the colours that LS_COLORS was using, based on the file types or extensions. It was not simply the colour values that were displayed but the colours themselves.
My inkjet will not print in colour, after clean install of 12.10
Previous installation of 12.04 worked fine.
I operate a dual boot notebook. Under windows, colour works fine, and print head nozzles have been tested and are clear
I swear I used to be able to select colour output in 12.10 but I'm working in 12.04 now and I simply can't figure out how to adjust the colour for printing. Seems like that option has disappeared.
