Help with WIFI Tether

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones. It will connect once you enter the password, yet the wifi bars remain gray and never actually produce a connection. On Wifi Tether for Root, I read where to change the profile to Galaxy Nexus CDMA. I do this and it does nothing. Not visible on any other devices. I have done research on the ne (HowTos)

Hey guys,

So I managed to install clockworkmod, and rooted by stock rom with superadmin. I installed Wifi Tether for root phones, it works perfectly. I ran across some issues though. There is something strange happening.

I have a question or two. I'm coming from the HTC Evo 4g and 3D. My 3D is set up with the pacmann 4.2.2 Jelly Bean rom and I love it, but no hot spot using sprint's hot spot or wifi tether. This doesn't work for me as I use the hot spot a lot so I use other roms when I need the hot spot, no big deal.

If anyone is looking to get wifi tethering set up, I've found an app that works on the Venice, and it just happens to be free :)

Now, when I say WiFi tether, I don't mean using my phone as a hotspot to let people use my data. I want to be able to tether my wifi connection.

Hello all,

I'm running Harmonia 'light' that did not come with Wifi Tether pre-installed. I need to tether for a few hours on Friday. I work from home and we are getting Comcast installed in a two-hour window. Without connectivity I will have to take the time off, which I don't want to do.:D

I installed Wifi Tether but on connecting to my laptop I have 'limited connectivity'.

I been trying to use the Wifi Tether app from market but lately my download speeds are really slow. Even though my phone is pulling like 10mb my computer only pulls like 1-2mb. And my hacked hot spot doesn't even work even though it's supposed to be hacked. Anyone have similar issues?
