Hi, I would like ask 2 questions, please:1. can I use my fingerprint UPEK BVF of thinkpad X230 in Centos 6?2. how can I increase the resolution of my touchpad of my thinkpad x230?
copied the same 50-synaptics.conf which I use on 14.0 thinkpad T410s to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d on my thinkpad x121e where I installed 14.1.
but it does not work on the x121e, I can turn the touchpad off with synclient,
but I can not scroll with the red pointstick + middle button
also, acceleration when I press the red stick does not work, on both
does anyone have a useful thinkpad touchpad/synaptic
i have a lenovo-thinkPad which came with a fingerprint reader, i'm ussing ubuntu 14.04 and i have no idea how to enable. I already used:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fingerprint/fingerprint-gui
sudo apt-get update
but this GUI did not recognizes my device.
does anyone knows any other option.
My ThinkPad x230 failed most of the time, but sometimes it can suspend successfully. Both `systemctl suspend' and `pm-suspend' failed to suspend.hibernate is the same as suspend.Does anyone has the same problem?
I am a newbie with Ubuntu and Linux, and I just switched from Windows 8. I have installed 12.04 on my new Lenovo Thinkpad x230. It seems everything else works perfectly except the finger printer. I have been using Finger Printer for a long time, and I really rely it on for my Lastpass application. But I don't know how to enable or install the driver of the finger printer.
