If need be, I will delete this thread as soon as I get an answer to my question. :3 I just purchased a LG Motion 4G, carrier is MetroPCS. I get absolutely no signal at my house and was wondering if there was any way to text (standard word texts, no pictures or videos) using my wifi? The old phone I had would text no matter what. I could be on a roaming signal and it would text just fine, and it was provided by Metro as well. I would have thought that a phone more advanced, such as m (General)

ok so heres the problem i can text and receive texts but no calls it calls to verizon if i dial 611 and they say they cant route my call and im always roaming and if i take it off automatic set it to home only i get no signal whatsoever i flashed sprint nexus s 4g to metro pcs so i dont get it any help would me much appreciated im on jb 4.1.1 codname 3.6.0 rom

heres what my status in settings

my phone often doesnt recieve tets for maybe 5 minutes but for the last 3 hrs it hasnt recieved any texts but im sure areound 50 texts have been sent. I try using other phones and text it but it wont go through. When i text myself it works. Is there anyways I can make them go through? I have tried rebooting and my signal is fine.

My girlfriend is having an issue where she has a text message thread of over 6000 text messages, but she just tried deleting the thread and it froze her messaging app and proceeded to crash it. Whenever she tries to do that the same thing happens. She's completely stock and she tried installing Handcent and GoSMS to delete but still no go. She's tried clearing data and cache also but no luck.

I know there is a thread for the latest system update but I thought we should have our own thread to discuss radio experience.

For me it's nothing short of amazing! I am such a happy camper right now. I work in a brick building and I could hardly ever hang onto a 4G signal. I would say the phone was staying in 3G 90% of the time and 10% 4G.

Recently, I left a primarily MetroPCS area in Northeast Texas/Southwest Arkansas, for the Cricket capitol of Texas, San Antonio... I've had great cell coverage, etc.

Notification sound question 11 weeks 5 days ago

Hi, i just made the switch from iphone to android. I downloaded handcent and i was was wondering if i can get the notification sound to only beep when i have not opened the thread. Once im in the thread..the iphone usually just vibrates with every text i get while im still inside... but no tone unless i exit messaging and its a new text message.

I recently tried to add text notifications to my Facebook account for privacy reasons, and now on my GS3 I'm unable to delete the text thread from Facebook. (A text conversation to 32665) Whenever I delete it, it just shows back up right away at the bottom. I've marked the number as spam, reset my phone and killed the messaging app and nothing works.

Any help?

Help me out here, I am s-off, and did the hboot,radio, and pri flashes in the "fix everything thread"

I don't get the "message not sent" errors anymore, but still when I send a text it will kill my 3g, kill my signal bars, then in about 3 seconds it will all come back up working.. Just like before I sent the text.

Is there any way to fix this.. Thanks.

Minimal signal bars? In the middle of nowhere? Your phone should automatically roam onto alternative networks designated by carrier roaming agreements, but sometimes it doesn't -- the phone can appear biased towards your home network. I've been looking at Roam Control, an Android app -- not available in Google Play -- that lets you force your phone to roam.
