I recently reinstalled Karmic. However, I can't seem to install my wireless drivers properly. I was told that all that was needed was to use the command
Code:
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter
I check in "Hardware Drivers" under System>Administration, and it reads as installed and in use, but the wireless does not work? What am I doing wrong?

I recently installed xfce4 with a wired connection and used the newly updated install cd ISO. After using the wired connection to install what I needed I went on to install what is needed for the wireless setup. I went with wpa_supplicant and networkmanager. I configured my wpa_supplicant.conf appropriately and installed the drivers needed for my atheros wireless adapter.

Trying to get help installing the driver needed to get wireless with fedora 16. I think Linux rocks but I need wireless. Working with a netgear wnda3100v2 wireless adaptor. Can't seem to find the info. If there is another wireless adaptor that is needed or more simple that could be an option.
