help on Music player

I have an issue with the Stock HTC music player. I have downloaded music that is save on both the internal and external SD that plays just fine through the music player. The issue that I have though is that once I delete a song or album, the Music library never updates. It just continues to display the songs that were deleted.

In my car, when I play music with the stock Music player, the car shows what song is currently playing and it is possible to change song from the steering wheel. This is only for the stock player so it seems. I have tried both Rocket Player and WinAmp and neither of these work with the above features...

Any secret way to really replace the stock player?

Hy guys.. I'm sorry to open new thread but I've not find a decent reply to mine quest:how can I transform or fix the stock music player to make it much likely HTC player?

When playing a song in the music player, it will play every song(118) in memory before it stops running.

I looked in all the settings and can't find a way to just play one song and stop. The only way to totally stop it is to go to settings>applications>running>music player>tap stop, otherwise the player is in the notification bar running sitting on pause, there is no stop button!

I can't get any music player to recognise any new songs. I put on some music, default player recognises them. come back a day later, put new songs on, wont recognise them. there all .mp3's , old and new songs. i just drag all songs into sd card main folder, worked until recently. tried installing kies, wont see them.

Hi everyone! I want to use the stock Music Player app that my SGH-I747m came with but it doesn't seem to work when I drag and drop my music which are mp3s into /sdcard/music/ALBUM-NAME/all songs here.... It shows the same screen which is to add music, drag and drop from your computer..... Does this happen for anyone else or is there a silly fix that I can't seem to do. Thanks! Michael

Thanks to Quinny899, I'm sharing his MIUI music player for ICS 4.0.4.

I've been using this for a while and works fine on our leaked ICS rom. The best thing it has is .. the music equalizer.. which works like a charm... also i love its UI...:fingers-crossed:
