I have music selections on a micro SD card on a Meenova card reader attached to my Nexus 5. Nexus Media Importer sees the music. I can make a selection and NMI employs the stock android music player to play the music. I would like to try using another music player but NMI offers no other choices as far as I can tell. If I click on a music player on the phone it does not find the external SD card.
I recently started listening to music on my Motion using the native music player app (not Play Music). The music is on an 8GB MicroSD card. However, I have noticed that the scrolling function is severely affected when music is being played on the device. It skips while scrolling in any screen regardless of the app. I had never experienced anything like this with my previous android phones.
Hi to all. Having trouble loading music from windows to phone. When I connect phone to computer it says music is on SD card, however when I go music on phone I can only see 1 track. How do you open the sd card to see what is on it, and I have to change some settings to get the music to play that is on the sd card. Thanks from Bob.
I've been on my S4 for about a month, and have encountered an annoying problem.
I have about 10 gb of music in a folder called Music on my external SD card. I can see and pltany song via my files, or ES file Explorer. But none of my music apps (Samsung Music Player, Winamp, or Google Play Music) can see any songs that are in the Music folder.
I would like to transfer some music from my computer to my Galaxy S5's microSD card. I connected via USB and Windows sees the Card device. I navigated to Card > Android > Data > com.google.android.music > files > music and put my music folders in there. However, when I open the Google Player app and change it to "on device" nothing shows up. Why is this?
My MP3/MP4 does not plug-in and play and therefore I can not transfer any file to the MP3/MP4 dane-elec music my touch or only dane-elec with 8 gb in memory and perhapses model zt1 with radio,..and microsdhc card slot

My wife recently got a Thrive. So far so good. I copied a bunch of music from her computer to the device, using ES File Transfer app. For a short time, when I opened the Music app (that came on the device) it would show all the music I put there. Now suddenly it says there is no music in the library. The files are still there because I can see them on the file explorer.
I really like the HTC Music player and because I'm using the ViperOneM8 ROM, It's skinned with the theme I've applied.
One thing that I've found with the player is that it applies some kind of equalisation to my music, for example listening to music through the Google Music app sounds very different to the HTC Music app. After looking around, I found the HTC Music Enhancer app.
