I'm groping around in my new Galaxy Note and Kies.
Kies is talking about backing up data, but I do not see anything about backing up applications or the state of the system.
Also, my first Kies back just threw "Not enough storage space on the PC.
"There is not enough storage space available to complete this action. Please clear some space and try again"
I have like 2GB free on both the external SD and internal storage. Does anyone know why this is happening? And how to fix it?
I started getting the "Low on Space: Phone storage space is getting low" notification a couple days ago after I installed the games from the Humble Bundle for Android.
After upgrading my Samsung S2 to Jellybean, I have, in my notifications, a "Storage space" warning that some system functions may not work properly.
Also, when I try to install any app, I get the error: "Out of space. Free up some space and try again", which gives me a link to Manage Applications.
For the past couple of weeks I'm getting the "low storage space" warning on my Galaxy S Fascinate (on Telus in Canada).
I have everything moved to the SD card that I can - any apps, I believe all my photos/music are over there etc. Internal storage is only 478MB (yeah throws me for a loop too but that looks like the proper specs). So clearly that gets eaten up fairly quickly.
I had this thing within 500MB of the internal capacity less than a month after purchasing it.
I've limped it along until now. It has gotten to where it will not update apps due to insufficient space.
Things I've noted:
It will NEVER compute internal storage space Under Settings/Storage. Perpetually says calculating.
It will not Delete my apps.
Personal opinion, this is a list of Android apps that you should have on your Android device. Of course, there are hundreds of thousands of apps in Google Play, if you like any others and think they are "must-have apps", free to leave a comment below.
1. Dropbox
Everyone knows what Dropbox is and if you dont you should get it.
A few applications have disappeared from my SG S2 in recent days. I have tried to restore these from a Titanium backup but it doesn't work. The restore seems to start but it never completes.
I have tried to restore them from the Play Store but I get an error message saying that it can't do the restore.
Hello everyone. I have only downloaded a few apps ans my storage space is getting low. I have a 16gig micro sd card and its almost empty as most apps cant be moved. Is it normal to only have roughly 6gigs of space on an EVO LTE after all the bloatware and such?
