i have the vodadone 858 smart running Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo).
The first problem occured about 2 months after having the phone - the battery refused to charge.
i just got a replacement phone from my insurance provider and up until the last couple of days or so everything was fine
recently though, i've had a problem with the battery. the battery life is pretty decent, but every once in a while the phone will just randomly shut off, then when i turn the phone back on the battery will be drained by a significant amount.

I recently ran into this problem after I woke one morning to my alarm clock blaring for about half an hour, the phone was pretty hot but not unbearably hot. I took out the battery and left the phone to cool down til trying to boot again, when I did the phone booted fine but it soon shut off again 5-10 seconds into loading into android.
My phone has the original battery, in good condition, have phone 1 year & 4 months.
This is the Epic 4G slide, Gingerbread, non rooted.
I noticed at work last night-forgot my charger at work, so used an extra one in the meantime the day before. The battery did die but was able to get it on the spare charger until I could get my original cord.

This was on CM7 test ROM B.I feel that there is an issue in the newer CM7 ROMs that won't let the battery charge correctly.When I did wipes on the ROM cache and battery stats I still get issues.

After updating my LG Thrive to 4.04 from 2.35 I have seen horrible battery life.
Although I had already done a factory reset I decided to try removing the battery to see if that would help.
So....recently, I found out that my phone(samsung galaxy W) shuts down suddenly even when it shows that it has battery life left. The shut down is completely random.
Hey guys, back with another issue with my father's phone. So this has just recently been happening. His phone will shut off out of no where only when he used the internet or uses an app like facebook or the camera. He can only browse the internet for a couple minutes and it shuts off. When he tries to turn it back on, it says to connect it back to the charger. But the battery was like at 80%.
