Dear XDA-Community,
Can someone briefly describe what the differences between the LiquidSmooth GApps on the normal GApps are?
Also, can I replace the LiquidSmooth GApps with inverted GApps?
Thanks.
I've finally installed LiquidSmooth ICS v1.5 MR2 (froze on the HTC screen a few times, had to update back to original and try again), but I have no service. I was able to connect to the net for a few minutes and then nothing. So I restored my old system and I'm back to square one.
Anyone else having these issues and figure out an answer?
I'm currently running on SlimBean 3.0 and have been for a couple weeks. It's a good ROM but I'd definitely prefer one that doesn't drain battery so fast. I've read about LiquidSmooth and think it's fairly good but I'm not very much of a flashoholic (I try to at give each ROM I flash at least a month). Would anyone recommend one over the other?
Hello.. I'm new to the forums (obviously with 1 post), but I'm also extremely new to ROOT and FLASH ROM. OK so I downloaded some software on my PC that autmatically rooted my phone.. All was fine and dandy until I decided, why Jelly Bean 4.1.1? Why not 4.2.2? Why not go further and do CMod or LiquidSmooth? I did CMod.. Was alright, just took forever for signal to come up.. Then LiquidSmooth..
I am curious why here on xda is not much about this great rom?

Just installed the newest LiquidSmooth on my device. When I was rocking my Galaxy Nexus, Liquid was my daily. When I got my GSIII I moved CM10. I can't I lasted this long on CM10 Liquid is so much better. I don't think I'll ever switch again.
I've been running the latest version of LiquidSmooth v2.1 on my VZW Galaxy S3 for several weeks now and it has been great! Had a couple of freeze-ups, but I think it is great for a daily driver. The battery life has been phenomenal as well. The only problem I'm running into now is when using Skype.
So I have a Galaxy Nexus. Had it since release. I owned an iPhone before that so my Android experience is fairly limited. I decided today to take the plunge and root it and put a custom rom it. Excellent - until I put on LiquidSmooth and it doesn't get past the boot logo. Problems I have:
1. I'm on a Mac, so I can only use Android File Transfer which doesn't recognise my device.
Lets play a game.
Hypothetically, if someone were to compile a ROM based on CM10; what would make that ROM go into a never-ending boot animation on a clean flash (wipe data/cache/dalvik), yet boot up without a problem when dirty flashed over a CM9 variant. One might think that since a dirty flash over CM9 works, what about dirty flashing over a CM10 variant?
