I tried everything I could think of, followed all the manuals. It used to work if I compiled everything myself, but the maintainer stopped supporting this card long ago. There are some bugs open in launchpad regarding this hardware.
I have a Terratec Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS (ID: 0ccd:005e), but I'm unable to use it in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala).
The kernel 2.6.31 already includes the em28xx drivers, but there's no firmware installed.
Concerning the firmware, I followed this guide (valid for Ubuntu 9.04 and a tuner with a different ID):
I noticed that Mantis bugtracker has the status "deleted" in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS BETA packages . Neither "apt-get install mantis" works nor "aptitude search mantis" finds something. The over-all status of 14.04 is frozen, isn't it? Therefore I have to assume that Mantis keeps being deleted in release.
I am looking for the correct way to find and set up the ATI driver for my graphics card. I tend to be a bit of a gamer and tried with the canned Gallium .4 card driver, but the performance just was not there.
