I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7500 3G from eBay. This is a supposed to be a factory unlocked (OEM, unbranded) version. I don't see any branding anywhere. I am using a AT&T SIM in the USA and everything works fine.
Hi everybody! My Note II is coming for me tomorrow, from England to Brazil, it is sim-unlocked.
But I have a (maybe a noob) doubt about updates - Via Kies or ODIN:
I am sure that the Big Baby Note II will receive the update to enable multi-windows coming directly from BTU - As the firmware I suppose will be BTU Unbranded.
But, after the update, it will still be sim-unlocked?

I have recently downgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.6, to unlock my phone because of a prevoius incident that required me to insert a Network Unlock Code.
I had to pay $50 to get it unlocked. It should be permanent, right?

After my downgrade to gingerbread i updated it via OTA, which locked my phone again.
I would really like to upgrade to ICS any suggestions on how to do that?
without knowing my phone's bootloader was unlocked by the shop in the 1st place!!!

after downloading the update, the phone shut down automatically while installing the update, and a brief recovery screen appear on the restart, the phone would still start normally but there's a notification telling me the update could not be

I have a HTC One S. It's unlocked and completely unlinked from any carrier.
I purchased my phone unlocked in USA a year ago because i work and live overseas. It came with Gingerbread and I had no problems upgrading to ICS 4.0.3 but this morning Kies sent notificatrion of update to 4.0.4 so i installed it and I could no longer access my local network provider. I went to a local shop to have them try to unlock it but they had to do a factory reset.

HI, I've bought my Galaxy Note from Amazon. Seller claimed it was unlocked. Box came with Hungarian manual, indicating it's European Note. I inserted Simple Mobile sim card and was able to use it just sweet from April until yesterday.
Hi, I was wondering when will be the OTA or Kies update available for Tab 2 in the Philippines? I visited a Samsung store and saw some Tab 2 already in Jellybean so I asked them if the update is already available but they said there is still no update. My tab is not rooted and factory-unlocked. So when is the update? Thanks btw :)
