Hello,
I am developing an application for Android. This app should communicate with a BT device (sending some bytes). I have a problem with debugging/running this app on my device (Samsung Galaxy mini). When I create a BT socket and stop debugging, phone freeze and I have to restart it by getting out the battery.
Since I started out using Linux with Ubuntu (10.04), I have been testing various Gnome-based desktop environments for a new system. The new ones listed above all have the same problem, which is that they tend to freeze when the system is (I guess) overloaded with processes.
I was bravely editing a few Tint2 configs (edit, restart, find info, edit...). I wanted tint2 to hide & show (rapidly) upon mouse over (without bumping any open program down). At some point things became more adventurous: the system began to freeze occasionally (three or four times in the span of an hour).
Okay, first a list of the hardware:
I use an Acer AS 1410 netbook with a Microsoft USB cordless Arc mouse.
Hello,
I'm still kinda new to ubuntu and subsequently lubuntu.
I'm running Lubuntu 11.10 on an AspireOne. So far it's been working well.
The roblem is a mouse freeze.
My Ubuntu12.04 often appears stuck - mouse, keyboard, all did not respond, everything stopped. I tried all methods to prove that indeed is a very serious problem. I know many people are like me, unfortunately, this problem still exist in 12.10.
I think the two most suspicious:
1 mouse. I do not use the mouse (I use the laptop touchpad), and never had problems.
Today I was moving the panels around (just to see what configuration I like and such) when i found out that putting the bottom panel (set to autohide) on the top of the screen with the other panel causes Fedora to spaz out and freeze. It happened when I tried to open one of the menus of the top panel - completely frozen.
I'm using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 keyboard with Fedora 18.
Whenever I press the Caps Lock key or the Num Lock key, Fedora stops receiving input from either the keyboard or my mouse.
It does not appear that Fedora is actually frozen, since the cursor continues to blink in certain programs.
I recently got a used computer from my Aunt and it currently has a little under a gig of RAM. Anyways I noticed a lot of the time that when I'm doing something, my mouse will freeze in the closing fist cursor.
It keeps doing this to me, and it's getting on my nerves. I have to force shut-down on my PC. I use a regular USB Optical Mouse.
