Just received my first droid phone the other day. I reset to factory, then downloaded all of the updates from Verizon. I later read that you shouldn't root the phone if you've done all of the updates through Verizon because it'll brick the phone.
I'm new to the lingo and using ROMS. I want to use this phone to learn though.
Hello everybody, this is my first post although ive been here for some time.great forum. I am sorry if this is in the wrong section but i have looked every where and cant find anything to what im going thru? Hi,
i am planning to buy the Verizon Droid DNA without contract from Amazon wireless and planning to use it overseas(Singapore).
i know the phone is GSM unlocked and i can literally use it with any GSM network and that gave me a confidence to buy it,
Do i really need to activate the phone with Verizon?

Thanks to everyone who have worked so hard putting together the phone rooting systems. I have a question that I hope can be answered by one of you. I just recently bought a Droid Razr HD (Verizon). This phone is running Jelly Bean out of the box, so the root method for ICS to JB probably won't work? Is there any new direct safe method available for this phone that I haven't run across?
I recently switch to a Galaxy S3 on Verizon. I decided to stay with Verizon for some reason...I think it was the 4g. The problem I'm having is everytime my phone drops to 3g speed it literally stops doing ANYTHING. I just got the Jelly Bean update and hoped it would fix it but it hasen't.
Verizon Wireless will begin selling a 4G LTE-ready 4.3-inch & Droid Charge by Samsung& Android phone on April 28 for a whopping $300 plus contract. Meanwhile, Verizon says the 4G- and Android-ready HTC Thunderbolt has been a hot seller, and Motorola has confifmed that the Verizon launch of its Droid Bionic phone will be delayed until summer....
i have a galaxy nexus Verizon i have had many phones unlocked rooted and romed many of them but i have never had this problem before i whipped data and both cache then i flashed the paranoid droid rom on my phone the other day then the gapps they provided rebooted and then rebooted my phone and never got any service so i put my sim card in my galaxy s3 and still no service looked online at the Ver
hey guys I'm new here but I am looking for some advice. I used to work for a company that did customer service for verizon, went through the original droid release and then up till about a year ago. I really liked the Droid Razr Maxx, but I also liked the Palm OS as well.
Because of where I live I need to get ATT, I live next too/near a Verizon dead spot.
