I have triple booted Windows XP (195 GB)partition 0?
Hi friends,
Just a few days ago..
I dual booted opensuse along with vista.
I installed opensuse in extended partition, with grub and gave the option as "boot from extended partition".
Now everything is fine..
im able to boot into suse as well as vista..
Now how can i restore my vista bootloader?
I decided to uninstall Ubuntu from my dual boot PC, as I was never using it, and I gave it half of my hard drive when I installed it for some dumb reason. So I repaired BCD with EasyBCD, and my startup goes straight into Windows. Yay.
Now I am trying to resize my Windows partition.
I have tried dual booting different version of Linux, the only one that i have success with is Ubuntu.
How to dual boot Windows 7 and OpenSUSE, i have 7 on the first partition, my programs on a second partition and plenty of space for Linux after that but i can't seem to be able to dual boot it so maybe you have some information about it.
Thanks

I have a computer with windows XP on it. I want to put openSUSE on it with windows xp, but want to use my windows boot loader. does anyone know how to make an entry. I should mention that i am going to put openSUSE on a second Hard drive.
Thanks in advance
I tried dual booting an Asus dual core i5 processor running windows 7. I started by shrinking the hard drive through windows like it was suggested. I downloaded, burned, and verified the iso image on a dvd. I loaded and installed F18 and everything went very well. It rebooted automatically, and directly went into Windows with no boot information for F18 at all.
I've been trying, unsuccessfully for a few days to dual boot Win 7 and Ubuntu on my PC. Previously I had Vista 64-bit installed and so I decided the way to go would be to wipe the hard-drive and start all over again. Having got a Windows 7 upgrade license though, I had to leave the Vista partition intact.
I have a Vista/Ubuntu dual boot set up (with Grub to manage it). I am about to upgrade from vista home basic 32 bit to windows 7 ultimate. Before I do though- I want to make sure that this will not mess with my boot loader.
