This method should work with a virgin mobile version but you should flash a sprint rom to enable diag mode.
Basically I zeroed my msl then did a master reset using ##RTN# the msl went back to what it was originally but msl reader couldn't read it.
I needed to connect a ZTE Warp to CDMA Workshop and QPST on my pc, so I did some searching to find out how to put the phone into Diag Mode. Easy enough. Well, It took me longer than a few minutes with google to find the info I was looking for, but I did eventually find it. Hopefully this post will help others.
I have a Evo Shift that is already flashed over to Boost Mobile. I called to activate the phone and get my Sprint phone # ported over to my new Boost account. They said they could but if I had any outstanding balances on Sprint, it could interrupt my Boost account.
So I decided to take the plunge and flash CM10 to my epic 4g flashed to boost mobile. The phone and text seem to work, besides having bad reception, but is there a way to get the data working using diag rx with CM10?
1) download these 2 files, (diag scripts, samsung diag drivers) and get CDMA WS , if you flash phones you should have the full, the cracked will work too
2) install samsung drivers
3) download script manager from google play
4) put diag scripts on sd card
5) run script manager and locate diag scripts
6) choose diag.sh and click on su, and execute script

It has been flashed from Sprint to Straight Talk (VZW) CDMA service. I had it flashed via remote the other day and it runs pretty well although the Verizon 3g data is pretty slow at times.
