Today I happened to boot my CrunchBang liveUSB on someone's PC. He had never heard of Linux. I was amused by his question: "Is Linux black and white?".Some people (especially geeks) prefer dark themes, but most people don't. I could suggest something like my desktop or something like the Lubuntu default theme.

Hey, I have used #! for about 2 years on my Asus EEE PC 701 netbook. Started with hearing about cruncheee. Searched it, installed it and got used to using crunchbang. Crunchbang is nothing short but a work of art.

Hi all, I am a new user to crunchbang. I was using Bodhi linux and linuxmint until now. Impressed by crunchbang on some reviews and finally installed the crunchbang stable with backport as my only operating system.So far so good.

Just installed crunchbang (have used several other linux distros in the past - mainly ubuntu) so I can focus on web development (currently learning Ruby on Rails coming from the Java world) and possibly other side projects such as game development or helping with an open source project.Very impressed with crunchbang so far, seems to be very fast and does everything I need in a nice minimalist fash

Hi All,This is my first post, with this I like to introduce my self as Linux beginner. But I have lot of interest in Linux. I have tried many flavour of  Linux, including Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, Debian. They are good but I like very lightweight and mostly includes everything. Finally I installed CrunchBang and on first impression only I started to enjoy it.

Holla :DI just found out about crunchbang. I like that its Debian based.I'm been using Debian for the past 2 years, really liked it, I recently installed Ubuntu 10.10 on a new laptop as Debian Lenny was getting a bit old, and I wanted to try out Ubuntu.
