android on wifi 30 weeks 3 days ago

I have a galaxy phone and a kindle fire. Both devices dont connect to the wifi. I had the kindle replaced and the issue remains. Galaxy connects and gets an IP but has no internet. Changed AP from Linksys to Netgear to Engenius. encryption is set to WPA2 AES. Any ideas as to why these android based devices wont connect to the wifi. This also happens at my job and friends house.

Kindle questions 13 weeks 6 days ago

I want to put shortcuts to individual Kindle books on my home screen. I want to be able to tap on the shortcut (or even bookmark) and that opens that specific book to the place I left off--just as it does in the Kindle app.

Any way to do this? I'm willing to use a third-party app such as Tasker, if necessary, but if I could do it without having to learn a new app, so much the better.

With all the shiny new devices announced yesterday, it may have been easy to overlook some of the other announcements Amazon made on a very busy Thursday.

A little less than a month ago CyanogenMod 9 RC1 (Release Candidate 1) was released with a lot of excitement, but now with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean being all the rave I can see an Ice Cream Sandwich ROM release being easily overlooked.

I'm trying to achieve a simple and straightforward solution for a synchronized ebook experience . I'm wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction.

I have a galaxy s3 and a galaxy 7.7 tablet. I mainly read NON-DRM material of all filetypes - (pdf, epub, mobi). I make a lot of annotations and highlights and wish to sync changes across all nominated devices.

Via their Open Source Release Center, Samsung has posted new updates to make open source files available for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, and AT&T Galaxy Note II devices. The listings indicate these are files for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on these devices.
