Good morning. Im Reeko43 and I am so grateful for the information on this forum. Before my Note 2, I really was not excited about phones, accessories or apps. Now, I am on my phone every day trying to find the best apps and watching videos to learn everything about my phone.
I love the phone. I am not intimidated by the size. In fact, the size is one of the great things about the Note 2.
Hello Everyone im new to this forum. i just recently purchased note 2 and loving it and i want to start rooting and do custom roms. i have t989v note 2 with wind mobile. now my question is would the 1 click rooting method by mike would work? and if so is all roms compatibale with this phone or i have to change radios or baseband.

Hey everyone I'm very new here and actually to be quite honest... did not know my phone could do any of the things I've been seeing on the forum so far.
I recently purchased my first android enabled phone, an lgl75c (I believe 'aka' optimus zip). I am really digging the advantages of having a smart phone and want to "expand the possibilities" (as I believe I'm barely grazing the surface).
So I see some rumors that the Galaxy Note II is due out in October - I've only had my Note for about 9 or 10 months but already starting to covet it.
I want to learn how to make changes in linux kernel(applying patch).
But I have no Idea from where should I learn these things.
I googled a lot but I didn't find good links.
If someone familiar with these things please provide some links.
I am still new to Linux and have never built, compiled or made a package and have little idea what these things mean.
However, the distro I am on (Lubuntu) does not have tesseract 3.
Well you could install CentOS and search around some basic administrative tasks to learn. If you want to learn anything on Linux, I would recommend at least gaining an understanding of the command ... [by usr_drc]
