If you're a regular reader of this column, you may remember that I recently took a look at Cloud TV's HD Widgets, an app for creating your own elegant, translucent widgets to replace ugly stock widgets that appear to permeate today's Android phones -- Motorola, I'm referring to you mainly.
Remember the HDW: Colourform Test Pack Beta trial that HD Widgets released in early February? Well it’s now an official app in the Play Store, so if you’re an HD Widgets user, go grab it now for 99-cents. This is an add-on theme pack, so you will need the HD Widgets app in order to use Colourform.

Most people dont differentiate between apps and widgets.Widgets arent widely used weather, clock and music are the most used and after that, fewer than 10% of customers use any other widgets. Most of you dont modify your home screens much.
So I went back to 905 and did the 246 update, though I didn't feel it'd be worth my while.
Got most apps installed, then had the Motorola home die and restart. Now I go into add widgets, only partial options appear for things, such as agenda widget(3 sizes appear).
Hi guys.I want to ask if there's any app that can let me put widgets in the notification drawer.I'd love to have there widgets like weather, calendar and so on because my screens are filled up with them and they take too much space,so having them in one single place would be better.By widgets I don't mean "toggle widgets",I mean widgets installed from the market.I'm currently running CM9.
I installed video drivers for my ATI card and now (some of) my windows have ugly widgets. Mainly, Firefox looks ugly but natuilus looks find.
Also, my media keyboard buttons stopped working. I can no longer change the volume from my keyboard.
HD Widgets has recently been updated to include even more functionality for those of you on Android 4.2. Right off the bat, users of the product will be treated to a total of 11 widgets— 6 for smartphones and 5 for tablets.
so being new to android, i find this weird lol. so widgets are only available for apps that you have correct? and you can place either widgets or the app icon on the home screens?
also how do i resize widgets? i've pressed and held on the widget and the only options available are to drag somewhere else.
Scrolling through the "post your homescreen" gave me ideas for not only design, but some new widgets I'd never stumbled across, like the Yahoo sports widget, and some of the clock/weather widgets.
What are your favorite widgets?
